Once again, I’m taking on another extremely challenging project…is it possible to build a DIY metal 3D printer? Follow along as I share the journey.

For a fun Summer project, I turned this old, broken, rusty arcade racing cockpit into a DIY sim racing rig. This turned out to be a quite expansive project in which I got the pleasure of using most of the machines in my workshop. So if you have a half hour to burn, follow along as I take you through the journey of this project.

I’ve been working on building this 1000W fiber laser cutter for the past 6 months and I’m finally able to start testing it. Since there almost no information about how to build one of these on the internet, I’m creating a YouTube series to document the build.
